What’s her back story:

I didn’t go straight into dentistry as a career – I worked in beauty therapy instead, but actually as a kid, it’s what I really wanted to do.

I’m not entirely sure what the appeal was, but I do remember visiting the dentist and thinking it was fun. Crazy I know. Unlike a lot of people, I just really enjoyed the experience of being there and seeing all the things they did.

Now I get to do that everyday, you know, make the experience fun for other people too. I feel this is what I do best. Helping people to feel safe, comfortable, and maybe, just maybe have a little fun too.

My move to Dental as Anything from Melbourne has been great. I feel like I’m working in a place that’s on my wavelength; where I get to be and do what I do best.

What makes Kristal tick?

The thing I love about my work is being that friendly face for people at a time when they might not be feeling so confident. My goal is that they walk away feeling, “You know, I could do that again.”

And being part of something that’s growing excites me and with Dental as Anything, it feels good to be part of a business going places.
