The back story:

I kind of fell into dentistry, and you know, I’m glad I did.

After school, I’d done some work at a government dental clinic and enjoyed it. Without complicating it too much, I thought, “This could be for me”. I was right and I’ve never looked back.

What makes Paula tick?

The patients and working with Dr Miller.

Over time, you get to know people. Strangely, when people come into a dental practice, they feel it’s a place they can share. I get to experience that everyday, because my desk is in the patient lounge. Whether it’s their stories, trials and tribulations, I find myself connecting with our patients in ways I would never have dreamed possible when I first started out.

What’s great is Dr Miller expects us to look after our patients in that way. I love that and people feel it.

Actually, I also really love walking the oldies to their cars.
